Years ago I was watching a VHS movie called The Patriot, have you heard of it? It’s the one with Mel Gibson as a fearless leader in the middle of a gigantic war. It’s very heart touching as his son Heath Ledger is forced to join the Revolutionary War. I remember watching it thinking “That would be awful to be on the front lines of a war.” I watched the Hollywood film feeling bad for the guys that had to go up front in war because they obviously will be some of the first to get hurt. It got me thinking, even though there is a greater chance to get hurt from the front row, someone still has to do it. Someone has to lead the others.

war 4

Leaders are sometimes expected to have everything figured out and people can assume that our jobs can be easy. But the reality is, as leaders we all don’t have everything figured out. Sometimes we are learning as we go. Being a leader in ministry you are pouring out to others emotionally, physically and spiritually. Some days are more fun than otleaderhers but there is really nothing easy about it. You can sometimes feel the pressure of having other eyes on you therefore you know you have to try and set a good example for people that are watching.

“For we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

In the odd moment of life I will be out somewhere and then I pause and think “Wow, this is interesting, there could be angels and demons around here but I can’t see them.” There is a whole other world that we physically can’t see with our human eyes. There is a spiritual war going on and we need to always be prepared to fight and stand strong. Every time I have a crazy attack from the enemy I know that something good is just around the corner. I know that God is going to move strong and the enemy is scared. I want to encourage you today to not give up. Don’t let the crazy thoughts in your head put you down. You are a winner and with Christ he will give you all the strength that you need.

war 2For the past few years I have been able to speak in front of thousands of people sharing the message of hope and purpose in life. I tell the truth about how Jesus loves the entire world. I challenge others to be real. I am close to broken teens as I show them the love of Jesus. So as I am out there I would ask that you could keep me in your prayers. I really need people to support Keep it Real by backing me up in prayer as I travel. At times I need your encouragement too.

The more I pray and daydream about revival in Canada, the more I can feel the enemy attacking more. But I won’t stop!!! Giving up is not an option. In a couple of days I head out on a long tour of traveling to different camps and other countries. I need your support in prayer, in fact I can’t do it alone without you. Some of the stuff you could help pray for me about is for safety when traveling, to have wisdom, good health, God’s power, messages I preach, finical support, people to pour into me.

Thanks guys! From your sister,
